Technical information
This project used a large number of formats and technical approaches. Soma Ether electromagnetic detector, A modular synthesiser with Granular capabilities and a Gieskes trin 3 -c audio visual synth. Pinhole, Film medium and large format cameras, Digital SLR and mobile phone.
This approach enabled me to record environments beyond the human visual range to include elecromagnetic and audio information. The use of a long and multiple exposure allowed the place to " perform" extending light image recording in keeping with electro magnetic and audio recording. Converting/ transposing images in to audio ranges allowed me to mix imagery with and transpose back into visual range with spectrograms of bothe acoustic and electromagnetic events. Humans don't have the sensory range to get the whole picture.
